We believe why we travel, where we travel,
how we travel, what we do while we are there and
when we return all have the ability to
effect positive change in the world.
Kathy Moyer Dragon founded the Dragon's Path in 1998 after spending over 10 years in the Adventure Travel Industry. She sensed a desire from today's active travelers for increased interaction with local cultures and believes that walking is a perfect venue through which to explore the world.
Maura Murphy, a long time friend, fellow tour guide and veteran alpine ski instructor joins Kathy in creating and escorting unique itineraries around the world and inviting past guests and friends to join.
Both Maura Murphy have a passion for experiential travel. They have a combined 40 years of experience in developing and leading walking, hiking, cycling, skiing, flyfishing and educational travel programs. They believe in the experience beyond the itinerary and are constantly creating unique and authentic trips. Over 90% of their clients are repeat/referrals from past trips.
With a degree in Sports Science and a lifetime of working with a variety of age groups in the outdoors, Kathy seeks out new programming and new destinations that challenge guests and guides alike. She has personally escorted over 3000 guests on small group adventures around the world and is a frequent speaker and contributer on the importance of boomers, women and Prime Time Travelers (50-70 year olds) in the travel, social media and natural foods industries. She operates the Dragon’s Path office out of her hometown of Boulder, CO, which offers constant inspiration and endless trails. Find out more about kathy on KathyDragon.com
